Day 1\100 Weight Loss

 


Day 1 - 15th March               

Morning Weight: - Didn't weigh today because have been eating a lot for the past few days. Will start weighing again from the morning of 16th March i.e. tomorrow.

I had a good night sleep yesterday and I am hoping it would improve further as I will be going for Functional Training from tomorrow.

Woke up at 4:30 freshened up and then did the daily chores like mopping the floor and arranging the dishes. Started the day with lime + ginger + garlic + ajwain + cloves + cinnamon  + long pepper + honey concoction. Then took bath and did jai jai.

At 6:30 a.m left for the exercise place. Started exercising at 6:50 till 7:35. Came home had a cup of milk tea with sweetener.

Later had an apple and 2 boiled eggs + 1\2 Avocado. Mid Morning was a bowl of watermelon.

Lunch was 2 idlies + coconut chutni + 1 1\2 bowl Mixed vegetables + 1\2 bowl chana ghiya daal.

I have introduced some good habits to my daily routine like: -

  • Starting the day with the herbal concoction
  • Writing gratitude journal in the morning
  • drinking 3-4 ltrs of water
  • Keeping track of what I ate
  • Doing Functional training
Had a cup of tea with milk and sweetener. Later had Pater and then mix vegetables with green chutney.
Then an apple and Allo gravy and curd.

Day 11 - Weight Loss Endeavor - 12th March

 

Day 10                       

Morning Weight: - Didn't weigh today because have been eating a lot for the past few days. Will start weighing again from the morning of 16th March.

Sleep last night was long I won't say deep. But still it's good that I didn't wake up at 2:00 in the night.

So woke up late at 7:00 in the morning. It came 2-3 times to the mind that I may skip the concoction and have milk tea.

But I came out strong and opted to start the day with lime + ginger + garlic + ajwain + cloves + cinnamon  + long pepper + honey concoction.

So proud of myself. Keep up the good work girl. Waiting for the birthday.

Day 10 - Weight Loss Endeavor - 11th March

 

Day 9                        

Morning Weight: - Didn't weigh today because have been eating a lot for the past few days. Will start weighing again from the morning of 16th March.

Started the morning with lime + ginger + garlic + ajwain + cloves + cinnamon + long pepper + honey cocoction.

Had a big cup of tea with milk and artificial sweetener.  Then apple + again a cup of tea with milk and artificial sweetener. Then cabbage and peas subzi. Again a cup of tea with milk and artificial sweetener.

Then small dal roti 1/2 chicken sandwich + spring rolls + a big cup of tea with milk and artificial sweetener.  Then KFC zinger burger + Atkins chocolate.

It's enough now birthday please come and get over so that I can start fresh.

Still maintaining concoction and lots of water habit. So proud.

Day 9 - Weight Loss Endeavor - 10th March

 

Day 9                        

Morning Weight: - It was 95.7 Kgs today. Up by 400 gms because of the late-night snacking I did. Will be mindful from today. Every day is a new beginning.

Starting the day with ginger + garlic + lime + ajwain + cloves + cinnamon + long pepper + honey concoction.

Had a big cup of tea with milk and artificial sweetener.  Then apple + again a cup of tea with milk and artificial sweetener. Lunch was a subzi of Mushroom + peas + corn + soya bean.

Again a cup of tea with milk and artificial sweetener. Grapes.

Dinner also was dal, beans chicken. 

I am just waiting for the birthday to come and celebrations to be over so that I can start my juice fast.

But one thing that I am proud of is the habit of drinking concoctions in the morning. Weight might not decrease but I could definitely feel a lighter tummy.

Day 8 - Weight Loss Endeavor - 9th March

 

Day 8                        

Morning Weight: - It was 95.7 Kgs today. Up by 400 gms because of the late-night snacking I did. Will be mindful from today. Every day is a new beginning.

Starting the day with ginger + garlic + lime + ajwain + cloves + cinnamon + long pepper + honey concoction.

Had a big cup of tea with milk and artificial sweetener.  Then apple + watermelon.

Lunch was Beans + Chana Dal + Cabbage Peas + Ghiya raita + Goat curry

The evening was a cup of tea with milk and artificial sweetener. Dinner was beans + dal + chicken curry.

But after that, it was disaster 4 keto-friendly chocolates :-( and grapes.

That's OK now waiting for my birthday. I start a juice fast from 15th March. All the best.

Day 7 - Weight Loss Endeavor - 8th March

 

Day 7                        

Morning Weight: - It was 95.3 Kgs today. Water weight is coming off. Happy International women's day.

I have my birthday in another 6 days i.e. 14th March. Undoubtedly I will present health to myself as I am entering my 40's. I will start my 40th year with a 60-day juice fast and I am determined to finish it. I have 5, 10, and 20 days juice fasts earlier and I love the results.

Today, I am starting my morning with ginger + garlic + lime + ajwain + cloves + cinnamon + long pepper concoction. From today I will start adding 1 tbsp honey to this as I usually struggle with my iron levels.

So after that had a big cup of tea with milk and artificial sweetener. Another cup of tea with milk and artificial sweetener. After that an apple.  Lunch was Mixed vegetables + curd + 1  mix veg fritter + cabbage peas and Dal + watermelon. 

Then some leftover air-fried chicken. Again a big cup of tea with milk and artificial sweetener. Then a bowl of watermelon. Then some chicken curry + 2 Tbsp peanut butter + 4 mix veg fritters.

Had loads of water but I should not have eaten in the evening. Will be mindful from tomorrow.

Day 6 - Weight Loss Endeavor - 7th March

 

Day 6                           

Morning Weight: - Well I didn't check the weight today because yesterday it was not a cheat it was an eating extravaganza.

But I am back now. Started the morning with garlic+ ginger + lime + ajwain + cloves + cinnamon + long pepper concoction. And having lots of water.

Will go for a long walk at 12:00. Had a cup of tea with milk and artificial sweetener and 5 soaked almonds. Sorry, but I didn't go for a walk.

Had another cup of tea with milk and artificial sweetener and then carrot, beet, apple, and celery juice.

Lunch was a salmon fillet cooked in coconut sauce + mixed vegetables + curd + watermelon.

Later another cup of tea with milk and artificial sweetener. One apple and then had another big cup of tea with milk and artificial sweetener.

Overall a successful day no cravings and cheating and drank lots of water.

Day 5 - Weight Loss Endeavor - 6th March

Day 5                           

Morning Weight: -  95.7 Kgs. This was expected because yesterday was a cheat day. I know this is majorly water weight and will go off quickly.

So I started strong today. Had Ginger + garlic + lemon + ajwain + cloves + cinnamon + long pepper concoction first thing in the morning.

Something tells me that today also it would be a cheat but no sweets. I had enough yesterday and I am not craving for them anymore. 

Although I didn't have sugar cravings but I ended up eating lots of sugar and lots of food as well. Result had a very bad acidity-type feeling in the night. But in a way, it's good because now I don't feel like cheating.

Positive again was that I had lots of water. Tomorrow is a new day. You go girl.

Day 4 - Weight Loss Endeavor - 5th March

 

Day 4                             

Morning Weight: -  94 Kgs( Although I checked it at 12:00 in the night because it is Hubby's Birthday today and we were supposed to cut and eat cake at midnight.

Good Morning. Today is another day. When you see results you remain motivated. Although the weight didn't change today but there is a reason for that. Firstly, I weighed in too early and secondly, I had not gone through my morning rituals so my tummy still had stuff. That's OK I know I am on the right path and moreover, it is not a sprint rather a marathon. The good thing that I have observed is that cravings have gone.

Although I ate Cake and Pizza at midnight but starting my day with ginger + garlic + lime + ajwain + cloves + long pepper concoction.

During the day also I will be eating but that's OK for today it's a cheat day today. I will be back on track from tomorrow.

The morning was a big cup of tea with milk and artificial sweetener and 2 biscuits. Brakfast was daal ki pronthi + butter + bharvein karele ... delicious. In between I had cream vale biscuits also + watermelon

Lunch was Sushi + sewiyan n badana + 1 plate Chowmein + 1 bhatura + watermelon + some grapes + cream vala biscuit.

Then 1 cup of tea with milk and artificial sweetener.

Dinner was Daal + Chawal + Chicken + 2 Gulab Jamun + 1 piece French cake

I thoroughly enjoyed the cheat and no regrets.

Positive thing was that I drank lots and lots of water throughout the day.

Day 3 - Weight Loss Endeavor - 4th March

    

Day 3                             

Morning Weight: -  94 Kgs

Good Morning. Today is another day. When you see results you remain motivated. Today morning's weight is 94.0 Kgs. I am a happy girl because first I am seeing the results second it doesn't seem like an effort. I get to drink my tea and eat what I like. Just that no rice and chapati but that's OK.

Starting the morning with ginger + garlic + lime + ajwain + cloves + long pepper concoction.

Had a big cup of tea with artificial sweetener and milk and again a cup of tea with hubby.

Later had carrot+ beetroot + Celery + Green Apple Juice.

Had an early lunch of mixed vegetables + kadhi + shredded chicken.

One big bowl of watermelon and then a big cup of tea with artificial sweetener and milk.

Dinner was an apple. Drank lots of water. Overall a very successful day. Tomorrow is going to be a cheat day as it is Hubby's birthday tomorrow.

Day 2- Weight Loss Endeavor - 3rd March

Morning Weight: - 94.3 Kgs 

So, I am so glad and proud of myself to have successfully completed my first day, and that too with ease.

Today also I started my day with a concoction of Ginger, Garlic, Lime, Ajwain, and cloves. Drinking lots of water. Had a big cup of tea with artificial sweetener and milk. Again had a cup of tea with artificial sweetener and milk as I made chai masala and hubby started craving tea with the fragrance of the masala.

After a while, I had a glass of juice of Carrot, Apple, Celery, and Beetroot. Lunch was Kadhie with shredded chicken and cabbage peas.

One bowl of watermelon and after that had a big cup of tea with artificial sweetener and milk. Dinner was just an Apple before 7:00 p.m. Drank lots of water. Overall a very successful day with no cravings although my Husband made pizza I didn't feel like eating even once.

Another successful day. So proud of myself. You go girl.

Day 1 - Weight Loss Endeavour - 2nd March

Day 1

Weight loss is a long journey especially when you have lots to lose. In my case, I am 95 Kgs and my goal weight is 65 Kgs do 30 Kgs to go. Consistency, Perseverance, Discipline, Patience, and Plannings are the key ingredients for success. I plan to lose these 30 Kgs over a period of 6 months. Thinking of making slow and steady changes that are sustainable too.

Every month I will try to include two healthy habits and then practice them for a month so that they eventually become a lifetime lifestyle change.

For this month:- 

  • Start the day with ginger, garlic, lime, and ajwain concoction.
  • Dinner is salt-free like an apple and finishes it before 7:00 p.m.
Along with this, there are some basic rules that I will always follow. And these are:-
  • 3 Ltrs. water
  • At least 30 mins walk.
  • No Sugar - Artificial sugar at the moment later I will stop taking sugar replacements also.
  • Avoid Roti and Rice as much as possible.
  • 1 Juice daily
  • Much greens 
So the first successful day of this endeavor. I am so proud of myself. Well Done! So, below is the summary of all I ate.
  • Early Morning - Ginger, garlic, lime, and ajwain concoction.
  • 1 cup tea with milk and artificial sweetener + 5 almonds
  • B'fast - Carrot, Apple, Celery and Beetroot juice
  • Lunch - 2 boiled eggs + bowl of black chana gravy + 1 cup chicken gravy + 1 cup cooked cauliflower + 1/2 cup curd
  • Watermelon 1 cup
  • Evening - 1 big cup tea with milk and artificial sweetener + 5 almonds
  • 1 Apple
  • More than 3 ltrs. water
