Cooking masala Chicken or mutton

  1. Take some ghee in a heavy-bottomed pan and add cumin and finely cut onion.
  2. Cook the onion till it turns translucent
  3. Add  chicken or mutton curry pieces
  4. Cook for 15-20 minutes or until it's properly seared leaves water and almost dried.
  5. Then add ginger garlic paste and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Then add salt, turmeric, dhaniya powder, garam masala, deggie mirch and chicken masla for chicken gravy or salt, turmeric, dhaniya powder, garam masala, deggie mirch and kali mirch powder + chotti elaichi powder for mutton.
  7. Cook for another 5 minutes.
  8. Then add Tomatoes + Curd + Green chillie puree and cook for 15 minutes. Add Kasoorie methi also.
