March 26 – Another Normal Day

Today is 26th March, another normal day.

I woke up at 5:15 AM and went downstairs to have my thyroid medicine along with two glasses of lukewarm water. Then I made my concoction of ginger, jeera, ajwain, cinnamon, and a bit of lemon juice.

After that, I started preparing lunch for my husband. Since my son has an early school finish today, I didn’t pack lunch for him. For my husband, I made an omelette with onion, capsicum, mushroom, green chili, and ginger.

For my son’s snack, I packed a banana.

Then I made coffee for myself and my son, and tea for my husband.

Morning Routine & Walk

Next, I went upstairs to change into my walking clothes, and then I woke up my son.

We all came downstairs together, and we enjoyed our morning drinks. After that, my husband left for the office.

Then my son and I went upstairs—he got ready for school, and once he left, I went for my morning walk.

During the walk, I met two people and greeted them.

Post-Walk & Workday

I came back home, gave breakfast to Scoot, took a bath, did jai jai, and resumed office work.

I chatted with my husband for a bit and then got started.

  • ๐Ÿ› ️ Worked with Rupali and tested the issue—it was working now.

  • ๐Ÿ’ป Then worked with Sumita on a new ticket, but I’m still struggling with it.

Later, I prepared rice for my son.

Afternoon & Wrap-Up

Several parcels arrived, and I spent some time arranging them.

I had:

  • Coffee

  • Paneer sabzi

  • Cashews (kaju)

  • An apple

Then I read my blog and watched some videos on NishaMadhulika.com.

That’s all for today. ๐Ÿ˜Š

Monday, March 24, 2025

Today is 25th March, yet another day in my normal life.

Last night was a bit different—I didn’t wake up in the middle of the night to pee, which I usually do at least twice.

This morning, I woke up at 5:15 AM and came downstairs to have my thyroid medicine with two glasses of lukewarm water. Then, I made my concoction with jeera, ajwain, ginger, and cinnamon.

While opening the fridge to get the ginger, the ginger fell, and along with it, my chia seed water also spilled. I cleaned up the whole mess, and by that time, my husband also came downstairs.

Morning Meal Prep & Routine

I started preparing lunch. There were some leftover noodles, which I packed for my son, along with some black grapes for his snack.

For my husband, I prepared a roll with onion, capsicum, mushroom, chicken, Chululu sauce, and tomato puree.

Then I prepared nuts for my son.

Starting a New Diet Plan

From today, I’ve started following a new diet plan:

  • ☀️ Afternoon: 3 boiled eggs + 1 cucumber

  • ๐ŸŒ™ Dinner: 2 lamb chops + salad

  • If I feel hungry in between: masala soda

I then prepared coffee for my son and tea for my husband.

Heading Out for the Day

Afterwards, I went upstairs to change into my gym clothes. I came downstairs and wore my shoes, and by then, my husband and son came down and enjoyed their drinks.

My husband left for the office, and my son and I went upstairs. He got ready for school, left on time, and I headed out for my walk.

Walk & Work Updates

On my walk today, I met four people and greeted all of them.

After the walk, I came home, drank some water, took a bath, did jai jai, gave breakfast and medicine to Scoot, and then joined office.

Chatted with my husband for a while and then started work.

  • ๐Ÿ’ป Worked with Rupali, but the fix wasn't working, so we’re still struggling with it.

  • ๐Ÿ“Œ Worked with Steve, who explained something, but I didn’t quite understand it—I'll ask Sumita for help tomorrow.

  • ๐Ÿงพ Needed an account number from the Prod environment, so I reached out to Braba, but haven’t found it yet.

Put the clothes in the dryer, and then had my lunch: 3 boiled eggs and a cucumber, as per my diet plan.

March 22 – A Steady Day

Today is 22nd March.

It started as a normal day since my husband didn’t wake me up. So, I got up as usual at 5:15 AM and came downstairs. I had my thyroid medicine with two glasses of lukewarm water and then prepared my ginger, jeera, ajwain, and cinnamon concoction.

After that, I got fresh and gave Scott a banana.

Then I started preparing lunch for my son. I made paneer shimla mirch jafel for him. Since my husband is working from home today, I didn’t make lunch for him.

Then I prepared nuts for my son, followed by tea for my husband and coffee for myself and my son. I also soaked some chia seeds in cold water.

After that, I went upstairs and changed into my walking clothes. I woke up my son and came downstairs again.

When my husband and son came downstairs, we enjoyed our drinks together. Then we went back upstairs so my son could take his bath.

Afterwards, we came downstairs, and I made a strawberry shake for my son, which he had for breakfast. Then my son left for school, and I went for my walk.

Morning Walk Reflection

On my way to the park, I met five people and said hello to all of them. However, none of them were people I had met before.

I feel like people aren't consistent with their walks, but I’m really proud of myself for sticking to it.

Post-Walk & Work Updates

After returning, I took a bath, did jai jai, got ready for the day, and started work.

✔ I pinged Dilkushi to check if the issue was fixed. It was—so I tested it and closed the ticket.
✔ I also messaged Rupali—her issue wasn’t fixed, so I tested it again and later worked with Sri to find a solution, but we couldn’t resolve it yet.

Midday Meals & Tasks

Later, my husband and I had omelette together.

Then I had a light meal with cottage cheese, grapes, seeds, and a cold drink. I also had two coffees in between.

I contacted Braba regarding another issue, and he said he’ll help at 3:30 PM, so I’m waiting for him.

And now, I’m writing my journal, feeling calm and productive.

March 21 – A Regular Day with a Sweet Ending

Today is 21st March, and my morning weight was 74.5 kg, which is 500 grams higher than yesterday. But considering the amount of rice, pistachios, ice cream, fries, chocolates, and that extra shake with 3 scoops that I had yesterday, it’s actually not too bad!

Today was also not a particularly special day, as my husband and Scotty didn’t wake me up. So, I woke up as usual at 5:15 AM, freshened up, and came downstairs. I had my thyroid medicine with two glasses of lukewarm water and then made my ginger, jeera, ajwain, and cinnamon concoction.

Meal Prep & Morning Routine

Lunch preparation wasn’t much effort today as I already had chicken gravy, so I just took the dry chicken pieces out of it and made wraps for my husband and son.

For snacks, I packed an apple for my son—I prefer giving him fruits for snacks. Then I prepared nuts for him.

After that, I prepared tea for my husband and coffee for myself and my son. Then I went upstairs to change into my walking clothes, woke up my son, and came back downstairs.

When my husband and son came down, we enjoyed our drinks together, and then my husband left for office.

After Breakfast

After that, I prepared paneer shimla mirch sabzi and gave chicken bones and blackberries to Scotty, since we were out of bananas.

Then we went upstairs, and my son got ready for school. After that, we came downstairs, and he left for school, and I went for my morning walk.

Walk Reflection

During the walk, I met one person and said hello, but he didn’t respond—probably didn’t hear me since he was wearing noise-cancelling headphones.

Rest of the Day

I came back home, took a bath, did my jai jai, got ready, gave breakfast to Scotty, and started office work.

I chatted with my husband, then pinged Braba for help with some work. He said he would be able to help at 1 PM, so I waited.

Then I had my coffee, read 20 pages of The Alchemist, browsed my old blog, and watched cooking videos by Nisha Madhulika.

Later, I had a cold drink.

Then I started writing my journal, and just as I was doing that, my husband came home. We had a little chat, then I washed the utensils and finished writing my journal.

Now, we’re about to head to the pharmacy to pick up my medicines.

March 20 – A Normal Yet Productive Day

Today is March 20, and my morning weight was 74 kg. I believe this is my actual weight since it reflects my weight after eating the previous day. The daily weight measurement, on the other hand, is usually when I’ve only had coffee the previous day.

Today was also a normal day because my husband and Scotty didn’t wake me up. My husband slept early last night and slept in late since he had been feeling sleep-deprived for the past two days. It’s good that he finally got some proper rest.

I woke up at 5:15 AM, went downstairs, and had my thyroid medicine with two glasses of lukewarm water. Then, I prepared my ginger, jeera, ajwain, and cinnamon concoction and set it aside. After that, I soaked chia seeds in cold water and kept them in the fridge.

Morning Meal Prep & Routine

I made an onion, bell pepper, and mushroom omelet for my husband and son and packed their lunches. For snacks, I packed some pistachios and salad for my son.

Then, I made tea for my husband and coffee for myself and my son and prepared nuts for him.

After that, I went upstairs to change into my walking clothes.

When I came downstairs, I gave strawberries and banana to Scotty.

Once my husband and son came downstairs, we enjoyed our morning drinks together, and then my husband left for work.

Morning Walk & Work Start

My son and I went upstairs for him to get ready for school.

After he left for school, I went for a walk. I met four people and greeted all of them, which felt good.

After returning home, I took a bath, did my morning prayers, got ready, and started office work.

Work Updates

๐Ÿ“Œ Chatted with my husband for some time, then followed up with Rupali about the issue. It was fixed, so I tested it, and it was working fine. I then started preparing for deployment, but faced some test data issues, which were later resolved. The deployment went smoothly.

๐Ÿ“Œ Worked with Dilkushi—there are still some issues pending, which she is working on.

๐Ÿ“Œ Received new work that required Braba’s help. He said he would assist after 3:30 PM, so I am waiting for him.

๐Ÿ“Œ Washed and arranged clothes.

๐Ÿ“Œ Received a parcel of my son’s socks and ordered coffee from Amazon.

๐Ÿ“Œ Had 4-5 cups of coffee throughout the day.

March 19 – A Routine Day, But a Happy One

Today is March 19, and my morning weight was 72.85 kg—just a slight decrease.

It felt like a routine day because, unlike the past two days, my husband and Scotty didn’t wake me up. I felt a little sad because I enjoy it when they wake me up. Still, I got up at 5:15 AM, went downstairs, and started my day.

I drank two glasses of lukewarm water and took my thyroid medicine, then made my ginger, jeera, ajwain, and cinnamon concoction.

Morning Meal Prep

Today, my son had a half-day at school, so I didn’t have to prepare lunch for him—just a snack (banana), which required no prep. I prepped his breakfast, which was strawberry shake, and then soaked chia seeds in water for myself.

For my husband’s lunch, I made a three-egg omelette with onion, capsicum, mushroom, ginger, green chilies, and Chululu sauce. Later in the day, he told me that it was very tasty and that he really liked it. I told him I’d make it once or twice a week for him.

Then, I prepared the soaked nuts for my son and made tea for my husband and coffee for myself and my son.

Morning Routine & Walk

After that, I went upstairs to change into my walking clothes and woke up my son. My husband was already taking a bath.

While coming downstairs, I brought the laundry and put it in the machine, but I decided not to do the laundry today.

Then my husband and son came downstairs, and we enjoyed our drinks together before my husband left for work.

For my son’s lunch, I made chicken curry and thought about making wraps later—maybe for today’s dinner or tomorrow’s lunch.

Then, we went upstairs for my son to get ready for school. He got ready, had breakfast, and left for school on the bus. I then went for my morning walk.

Walk Reflection

Today, I met four people and greeted all of them. It felt so good—it’s such a simple but powerful habit that spreads love.

After coming home, I took a shower, joined office work, and made coffee for myself. I enjoyed my coffee and then started working.

Work Updates

๐Ÿ“Œ My husband pinged me that he had a meeting and would talk to me later, so I just replied with a "Hi."

๐Ÿ“Œ I checked the issue Rupali and I were testing yesterday—it was still not working, so I informed her. She said she would fix it and let me know.

๐Ÿ“Œ I worked on the issue that Dilkushi and I were handling, but it was still not resolved, so I updated her. She also said she would fix it and let me know.

Since I was free, I continued reading The Alchemist.

๐Ÿ“Œ In between, I gave breakfast to Scotty.

๐Ÿ“Œ Rupali later asked me to contact Braba to fix an issue, which he did, and I was able to resolve the ticket.

๐Ÿ“Œ I’m still waiting for Dilkushi to fix the issue.

๐Ÿ“Œ In Tosca UAT, the self-serve regression was not working. I informed Steve, who asked me to contact Suvarna, who then pointed me to the developers. I escalated it to them, but it is still not working, so now I’m waiting.

A Small Gardening Attempt & A Divine Moment

๐ŸŒฟ Today, when I went outside, I saw that the garden beds needed cleaning. I thought I’d do a little gardening for the first time, but I couldn’t find the khurpa (weeding tool). I have no idea where Scotty has kept it. I had some free time and wanted to do it, but it didn’t work out—maybe God didn’t want me to.

๐Ÿ™ Remember the mantra I was talking about yesterday? The one ChatGPT provided wasn’t completely the same as the one I used to recite as a child. Today, during my morning prayers, I tried reciting it, and to my surprise, I remembered the entire mantra correctly! I felt so happy!

Evening Updates

๐Ÿ“Œ My son came home, and I served him chapati and chicken gravy. He liked it a lot.
๐Ÿ“Œ I also gave food to Scotty.

 Weight Loss 2025

Day 1

The weight today was 74.9 Kgs. I have already lost 25 Kgs 15 more to go. Here is what I did since morning.

Today is my aunt's birthday, and I sent her my good wishes. Although it’s a normal day, it still feels special—special because I am alive, and all those I know and love are alive. That alone is enough to make any day meaningful.

It was a routine morning, but a bit different—my husband woke me up today. I had some water, freshened up, and then made my usual morning concoction.

My husband measured 100 grams of paneer, and I added some veggies to prepare a paneer wrap for his and my son's lunch. For my son's snacks, I packed black grapes, and for breakfast, I started preparing a strawberry shake.

I had two packets of strawberries, but some were spoiled. I carefully picked out the good ones, added a few more from the Costco pack, sprinkled some sugar, and set them aside. Then, I prepared nuts for my son.

Next, I made coffee for myself and my son, leaving it on simmer while I went upstairs to change into my walking clothes. After changing, I woke up my son and then came back downstairs—by then, the coffee was ready. I also made tea for my husband just as he and my son came downstairs.

We all had our morning coffee and tea together, and then my husband left for work.

After that, I prepared Gobi Paneer for my son's dinner and ironed some clothes. Then, we went upstairs for my son to get ready for school. I made the beds and came back down to make his strawberry shake.

Once he was done with his bath, he left for school, and I went for a walk. After returning, I joined work, checked my emails, then took a bath and did my prayers before getting fully ready for the day.

I gave breakfast to Scotty and resumed work. I messaged my husband and Dilkushi to give me a walkthrough of the new ticket I need to start working on. She said she would ping me soon, and I am still waiting.

In the meantime, I started reading The Alchemist and managed to read 34 pages. I had some water in between and a coffee break at 12. Now, I am writing this journal, and it feels great to put my thoughts into words. I will do this daily.

I came across a quote in The Alchemist that I really liked:
"When you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it."

I genuinely believe in this. Whenever I truly want to do something, situations align themselves to make it happen, as if there is a guiding force at play.

For example, this morning, I had a moment like that. It was my son's PE class, and his uniform wasn't ironed. I initially planned to iron it at lunchtime, but since I had some free time, I did it in the morning instead. Later, I realized how this small decision saved me from a last-minute rush. It was as if the universe guided me to do it at the right time. Otherwise, it would have been a struggle with my son's clothes not being ready.

God truly came to my rescue. Thank you, God.

When I was young, I used to recite a mantra called "Nagendra Haraya Trilochanaya." Over time, I forgot it, but today, I remembered it and decided to make it a part of my daily jai jai (prayer ritual). With the help of ChatGPT, I wrote the mantra on paper, and from tomorrow onwards, I will read it during my prayers. It brings a lot of positivity.

Also, when we lived in Noida, I used to watch a food blogger, Nisha Madhulika, and I loved her recipes. Today, I revisited her blog and learned how to make Malai Kofta—a dish of paneer and potato koftas in a creamy, tomato-based gravy. I have had it many times at restaurants, but I have never prepared it myself. Now, I will try making it at home.

I also used to write my own food blog, and today, I decided to start writing again. I revisited my old weight loss posts, and since I am currently on a weight loss journey, I have started documenting it on my blog from today, along with my daily journal.

Now, I am waiting for my husband and son to come home. I will have coffee, my husband will have tea, and if my son is hungry, he will have gyoza.
