Kachee Aam ki Meethi Chutney

Summer time !!!!! Mangoes are in abundance.... This time of the year it has always been a ritual in most of the Indian homes that mothers would make Aam ka achaar which the family would relish whole year, Aam ki meethi chutney, Aamchoor, Aam ki pyaaz vali chutney......
After I got married my mother would prepare these things as usual and will send it to us.
One fine evening I had gone to the vegetable market and heard the vendors speaking it loud..... "Achaar vale aam...." and suddenly the thought came that this year I should prepare these traditional things myself and I bought 3 kgs kachhe aam and when I came back home very excitedly told my mom that I will prepare achaar myself.... but she told the mangoes are not ready for achaar and I should try and prepare chutney.
Its a very easy recipe and far too yummy than the effort.
So here is the recipe :-
Ingredients:-
Kachhe aam :- 1 Kg
Sugar :- 250 gms
Salt :- 2 Tbsp
Vinegar :- 1 cup
Kishmish :- 50 gms
Magaz :- 50 gms

Process:-
Grate the kachee aam and add sugar and salt to it. Keep it aside for 30 minutes and after that put this mixture in a hevy bottom pan and start cooking it on low flame.
Cook untill the water evaporates. Heat the Vinegar and add 3 Tbsp of sugar or the amount needed according to your taste. Add it to the chutney mixture and heat till the vinegar gets incorporates into the chutney and at this moment put it off the flame and add kishmish and magaz.
Chutney is ready. Relish it with paranthas or you may apply on bread.
Enjoy!!!!!!
