Last week when guests came I served them homemade papdi bhalla chaat .... recipe I will definately upload someday :-) also I prepared moong daal halwa so what to do with the little moong daal and sweet tamarind chutney and coriander green chutney that was left........ Ram laddu was the only thing that came to my mind. So I pleased hubby dear with tempting ram laddus.....
And for you to please your loved ones here goes the recipe...
LADOO INGREDIENTS
1 cup Yellow Moong Dal
1/4 cup Chana dal OR Bengal Gram lentils
2 teaspoon Roasted cumin seeds
1 tablespoon Ginger paste
1 tablespoon Chopped cilantro leaves
1/8 teaspoon Hing/asafoetida
1/2 teaspoon Red chili powder
1/2 teaspoon Baking soda
Salt to taste
Oil for Frying
ASSEMBLING LADOOS
1 medium Horseradish or Mooli, shredded
1 cup Green Chutney
1 cup Tamarind Chutney
A pinch of Chaat Masala - to sprinkle on top
1 tablespoon Chopped cilantro leaves - to sprinkle on top
2 tablespoon Lemon Juice - to sprinkle on top
